It was a truly magical day for the team at Daisy May Films as we shared our latest film, “Breakfast at Ina’s” with our first real audience at the 51st Chicago International Film Festival on October 18th.
Director Mercedes Kane, producer Sanghoon Lee and most of the film’s crew sat near protagonist Ina Pinkney in the audience, and we could all feel the energy and emotion pulsating throughout the packed theater. The credits rolled and to our surprise, the audience rose for a standing ovation.
We cannot thank the festival, the audience and our star, Ina enough for this surreal experience. More to come!
